In 2011, Arcontia equipped one of the largest bus company providers, Handal Indah Sdn Bhd (Causeway Link), based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, with onboard light bus validators.

Handal Indah recently introduced a new fare payment system based on NXP's MIFARE contactless technology. The ManjaLink fare card system is the first contactless-card based Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system introduced for public transport in Johor Bahru. The system utilizes ARC2330 validators from Arcontia, providing faster, easier and more convenient means of payment for travellers.

Handal Indah owns approximately 400 stage and express busses, operating throughout the city of Johor Bahru, inter-state coaches and cross-border to Singapore. By the middle of 2012, all cross-border buses to Singapore will be upgraded with the new AFC system and ARC2330 validators.
