In 2010, Arcontia equipped Cale Access with OEM contactless smart card readers to be integrated into their parking terminals, allowing travellers to pay for parking and public transport using a single MIFARE card. To enable this, Arcontia also provided a software solution that included issuing and managing travel cards, as well as Secure Access Modules (SAM) personalization for front- and back-end devices.

Cale Access is a worldwide supplier of parking terminals and their products can be found in more than 40 countries. By integrating contactless technology from Arcontia into parking terminals provides greater flexibility and seamless travelling, removing barriers between public transport and parking, making travelling more affordable and convenient.
